Angola - Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (República de Angola - CNCA)

The Angolan government mandates that all goods imported into Angola by sea must obtain the CNCA LOADING CERTIFICATE (CONSELHO NACIONAL DE CARREGADORES DE Angola). The CNCA number must be shown on the bill of lading, and the CNCA number must be provided when submitting the bill of lading draft to the shipping line. Failure to apply for this certificate will be considered a violation of Angola’s transport regulatory regulations and will prevent smooth customs clearance at the destination port. The Angolan government has strict rules regarding the retroactive issuance of CNCA certificates.

The Angolan government has strict rules regarding the retrospective application of CNCA certificates. Applications made after the container arrives at the port will incur substantial fines, may be rejected, and will result in severe penalties.

Application Procedure

1. After the goods are shipped, please complete the application form and email it to our operations team along with the draft Bill of Lading, a scanned copy of the stamped packing list, and a scanned copy of the stamped commercial invoice.
2. Our operations team will issue a fee confirmation based on the application form for you to arrange payment.

3. After the applicant makes the payment and provides the bank slip, we will confirm receipt and arrange the issuance of the CNCA number.

      The applicant provides the CNCA number to the shipping line for issuing the original Bill of Lading.

4. The applicant provides the final documents so we can issue the original certificate.

Note

**The CNCA certificate must be processed before the shipping line issues the original Bill of Lading.

**The validated original CNCA certificate (in duplicate) will be couriered to the applicant, who must forward this original certificate to the consignee at the destination port and the shipping line.

**No amendments can be made to the original CNCA certificate after it is issued.

 **According to the latest notice from the Angolan CNCA authority dated February 7, 2015: Effective February 10, 2015, the DU number must be entered and the DU document provided within the CNCA system. If the FOB value of the goods is less than USD 5,000, the DU document is not required, but the DU number 201500000000005000 must be uniformly entered, and this DU number must be filled in on the application form. Please be advised. The USD 5,000 threshold is based on the FOB price on the Commercial Invoice.
