Côte d'Ivoire - Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (The Republic of Côte d'Ivoire - BSC)

Côte d'Ivoire - Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (BSC)
In accordance with the regulations of the Ivorian authorities, all cargo exported to Côte d'Ivoire must have a BSC application submitted at the port of loading.
The Customs of Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) has designated the B.S.C. as one of the essential mandatory documents for cargo clearance. A formally approved BSC document must be provided for customs clearance at the destination port; otherwise, clearance will be impossible and penalties will be incurred.
Which ports require a Côte d'Ivoire BSC?

Specific Application Process for the Côte d'Ivoire BSC Certificate
Required Documents
1. A fully completed BSC Application Form
2. A scanned copy of the Export Customs Declaration (a compliant pre-entry customs declaration is also acceptable)
3. Packing List and Commercial Invoice for destination port clearance (The Invoice must clearly state the FOB value, freight cost, insurance premium (if under CIF terms), and the trade terms)
4. A scanned copy of the Original Bill of Lading (If you need to allocate a BSC number first, a carrier-format Bill of Lading with the accurate SHIPPED ON BOARD date can be provided initially)
5. Certificate of Origin
6. FDI Certificate (applied for by the consignee at the destination port)
7. Insurance Policy (applied for by the consignee overseas)
Application Procedure
1. Send the application documents as per the above requirements to our company email address.
2. Upon receiving your application documents, we will calculate the cost for this BSC based on the information provided. After confirming the payment method with you, we will issue a detailed fee breakdown for you to arrange payment. Please provide the bank slip after payment for our finance department's verification.
3. Our operations staff will review the documents you provided and guide you in revising any files that do not meet the requirements.
4. If you need to allocate a BSC number first, you can initially provide a carrier-format Bill of Lading with the accurate SHIPPED ON BOARD date. Once the BSC number is allocated, the shipper and consignee information cannot be changed.
5. After receiving the scanned copy of the Original Bill of Lading and all other documents, we will upload them to the system and submit them to the destination port's approving authority for final review and approval. The normal processing time for the destination authority's approval is 2-3 working days.
6. Once the BSC is approved, we will send the approved original BSC certificate to you via email. You can then forward it to the consignee for customs clearance at the destination port. The BSC is an Electronic Cargo Tracking Note; the original document is an electronic version in PDF format, and there is no paper certificate.
Regarding Payment and Invoicing
For both domestic and international clients, payment can be made directly in RMB. For foreign currency telegraphic transfers, our company will need to charge additional foreign exchange handling fees and intermediary bank charges.
